Doctor, One of my friend is treated by a Varma specialist for MDS and he has been improving, anyhow, he is not cured fully as he needs blood trnasfusion once in 2 months. Can he be cured. I am a cancer patient from May 2007. Ovary cancer detected in last stage. By god's grace am living ok. doing chemothrapy again. removed ovaries, utress,limpnodes,etc.. still having growth of small tumor (limnodes) 5cm, 2.8 and CA 12.5 is jumping up. so doing chemo now again and CA-12.5 is coming down. do you think i can have any other kind of treatment instead of chemo therapy? I am taking treatment for Cancer. I had underwent Mastectomy due to Axillary Node in my right Breast in March 2009. I had taken six Chemotherapy from April 2009 to July 2009. and 25 Radiations in September 2009. After the third Chemotherapy onwards I am going through severe body pain and now it is affected to my joints. I find difficult to bend my knee, my fingers etc. But no swelling is there. Health wise I am OK I feel. I am asked to take the tablet -Tamoxifen Citrate 10mg for five years as my ER and HER are Positive. My FNAC Test shows Secondry stage. My next check up is on 18th January. I would like to know is there any possibility for me to get proper treatment and relieve from my joint pains. I feel if I am relieved from this pain I will be OK. Thanks Celine Antony

I had a painless bleeding motion. Doctors diagonised it as cancerous mid rectum. The infected portion was removed surgicalloy and now I am undegoing Chemotherapy. Four chemo has been completed along with XELUDA tablet for 14 days after each Chemo. dosage 3 tab. in the morning and 2 in the night. Doctors have prescribed 8 chemo and 28 radiations.Kindly advise me wheather this is OK.
